On March 27, 2022, FanYu entered into a groundbreaking, integrated trade agreement with Vietnam's Dong Gang Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd. This landmark deal included the supply of 1,000 tons of fresh onions and 600 tons of fresh apples, and innovatively incorporated the export of 800 commercial display cabinets. This partnership model signified a strategic evolution for FanYu, transitioning from a supplier of individual commodities or equipment to a comprehensive supply chain partner capable of delivering integrated "product + equipment" solutions.
The success of this collaboration stemmed from FanYu's insightful understanding of the client's underlying needs. As a diversified trader with operations spanning fresh produce retail and end-store management, Dong Gang had a pressing need for backend preservation equipment while expanding its fresh food business. The FanYu team identified this critical requirement and creatively proposed a bundled supply solution pairing agricultural products with supporting commercial refrigeration units. This approach not only addressed the client's sourcing needs for goods but also directly enhanced the operational efficiency and product merchandising of its downstream retail stores by providing professional preservation technology.
During execution, FanYu demonstrated exceptional cross-category supply chain coordination. For the agricultural products, it leveraged its established sourcing networks and cold chain logistics to guarantee the quality and freshness of the onions and apples. For the equipment, it utilized the manufacturing and quality control capabilities of its Shandong factory to ensure the on-time delivery and reliable performance of the 800 display cabinets. Through unified export coordination and logistics management, FanYu achieved the synchronized, efficient arrival of these two distinctly different product categories in Vietnam, significantly accelerating the client's overall project launch.
This case serves as definitive proof that FanYu possesses the capability to deliver customized, cross-category supply chain solutions based on specific client scenarios. This integrated "product + equipment" export model not only increases transaction value but also deepens collaborative ties with partners, creating added value that goes beyond simple commodity trade. It also provides a practical blueprint for Chinese manufacturers exploring diversified export strategies.
